This new support group is a resource for parents whose adopted children are teenagers or preteens. Each meeting features a short presentation about a featured monthly topic by the hosts or a a guest speaker, including a practical tool or technique that parents can try at home. Most of the time is spent in group discussion of both the monthly topic and current challenges.
Like most AFFGS programs, attendance is free for members. Non-members are invited to try out the group once to see if it is a good fit and will be asked to join AFFGS for future participation.

Sara Cole is an adoptive parent coach, a long-time AFFGS member, and parent of two teens.
All meetings are 7-9 PM and are currently meeting virtually via Zoom. Please email Sara Cole for an invite. The next meeting is April 10.
